Often a wedding day and the weeks prior are full of last minute things to do. Simply do most last minute things 4 weeks before your date. Here is a list of things that may help you.
DJ: Have all your first dances ( bride and groom & parents ) picked out VIA ITUNES store. This will reduce the risk of your Dj not having something very important to your day. Best of all if he doesn’t have your selections, it would be available on line. Not all songs are available on line. UTUBE media is not downloadable. If you have choices that are not on ITunes but have the media file, email it just incase. The more time allowed makes for better success.
Photography: Sorry Ladies. The most common issue is lateness at the salon! Schedule your appointments extra early and be there on time. Bride should should have her own transportation and always be first in line so that she can get back to her “prep” location asap. Remember that if a photographer is taking pictures at your house what is visable to the eye is visable in your photos! Pick up. Clean and dust windows. Maybe buy some flowers and such for your dress area.
Venue: Be sure to know your floor layout and approve it with venue. Maybe check with your entertainers for there best suggestion for set-up. Mine is the middle of one of the 4 sides of a dance floor. Definatly not in a corner.
Lastly know how all your outstanding balances are due. Certifies check, charge, cash… Make proper arraingements and set it aside in individual envelopes. Get it out of the way.
I forgot this tip for the Latinos: Time is money. Give 15 minute start times to actual times you need guest and wedding party persons to arrive.
Another sweet Sixteen at The Grand Marquis in Old Bridge NJ. Nice group of kids and adults. Plasma screens and spot lights along with LED lights. Good staff here and food. Love the glass dome roof in ballroom.

Today’s bride at Ruthers Gardens in New Brunswick. Great party with a dull dance floor. Best to the new Mr Mrs Del Rio.

Sorry for the lack of posting. Between my printer and editor I have been extra busy just sorting things out. Looks like all is in order or close to it! Welcome Renee to the TWK family! Good work. Another faithful on the team.
Friday night featured photography and entertainment for Grant and Wendy Wrights’ vow renewals at Stratford Estate. The Stratford is a nice location by Exit 5 on NJTP. This location features one wedding at a time with nice grounds for a ceremony outdoors. Food was pretty good and staff very friendly. This couple always stood out in my mind since booking last year. Faithful Christians with lots of favor. Very nice family and friends. Smooth sailing. I look forward to seeing them again. The Weddig Kitchen will be in North Jersey for another wedding later. Stay tune.
Yesterday we were pleased to show our stuff at The Pines in Edison. Great food and staff makes The Pines Manor one of my favorite spots in NJ. Look forward to working there this season. Located in route 27 off of 287.
It was one of these nights at The West Orange Manor for Jaime and Cynthia wedding. Lots of rumba along with everything in between. Sunday night and signing out. Good night and Godbless!
